Fred Peña

    Fred Peña is a percussionist and educator based out of Texas. He is currently finishing a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from East Texas A&M University, where he studied under Dr. Brian Zator, Mrs. Sandi Rennick, Mr. Jeff Ausdemore, Ms. Lauren Teel, Dr. Tanner Leonardo, Mr. Cory Doran, and Mr. Kent Hillman. While at ETAMU, he received second place at the PASIC concert snare solo competition in 2022, performed at the IPEC showcase in 2023, and was a featured soloist in the Symphonic Band. His musical influences include jazz, bolero, classical music, and Broadway.
