Myles Thomas

Myles Thomas (b.2000) is an percussionist, educator and composer based in Dublin, Virginia. He  received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Radford University, where he was able to perform with many ensembles in and outside of the school including, Radford Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Appalachia Southeastern-Wind Symphony, and Liberty University Indoor Drumline. 

As an educator he currently works as an elementary music teacher in Radford, Virginia as well as the percussion arranger and instructor for Radford High School. Prior experience includes working with other schools in South-west Virginia and being the Bass Drum Instructor for Liberty University in 2023. 

Myles’ most recent work “The Birth of Falling Stars” will be premiered spring 2024.
