Consciously, and unconsciously we relate to\u003cbr\u003eclouds in many ways from how it affects our mood to imagining them as shapes\u003cbr\u003eand sharing that with others.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSkytudes is made up of 5 short etudes for solo marimba, each one depicting a type\u003cbr\u003eof cloud. The goal with these etudes is to have the technical demand and musical\u003cbr\u003edemand be the forefront of focus to the performer while depicting these clouds in a\u003cbr\u003emeaningful way for myself. This is also done by not having much information in the\u003cbr\u003escore outside of some wording and the program notes.
