All that remains is an aural conversation to the inner-self as a means of healing. The original birth of this piece came through the first processes of grief that I had experienced from losing a family member. It should introduce a deep and pensive sense of calm for the audience and a deeper sense of healing to the performer. The topic of this pieces' origination may seem heavy, but in fact I have personally found strength in the grieving process from which this chorale was curated. Through the bonding process of this piece, I hope you keep in mind as the performer that even in the deepest webs of struggle with grief, that tiny glimmer of light that grows gradually over time will show you... all that remains are the positive moments you experienced with the individual who was lost.
