A rough translation of the latin term fluxus is “flowing or fluid”.

I wrote Fluxus in an attempt to create a fun and energetic solo that would develop the double lateral technique for my younger students. I was inspired by the works and performances of Keiko Abe and my teacher Michael Burritt. Their incredible performance energy and the way music seems to flow out of them inspired me when composing the work.
